Issue Description
If the robot reports an LDS sensor malfunction or is unable to navigate or map properly due to an LDS sensor issue, please follow the steps below for troubleshooting.
Troubleshooting
Step 1. Check the firmware version
Confirm that the robot is running the latest firmware version.
If an update is available, please upgrade the firmware and try again.
Step 2. Inspect the LDS sensor
Check whether there are any foreign objects, dust, or debris obstructing the LDS sensor.
Inspect the LDS sensor and its housing to ensure there is no visible deformation.
Step 3. Clean the LDS sensor and cover
Gently clean the LDS sensor and the top cover of the robot using a soft, dry cloth.
Make sure the sensor area is clean and unobstructed.
Step 4. Restart the robot
Restart the robot and observe whether the issue is resolved.
If the Issue Persists
If the LDS sensor malfunction continues after completing the steps above, please contact our customer service team for further inspection.
