Issue Description
If the robot repeatedly docks when attempting to recharge, or fails to dock properly, please follow the troubleshooting steps below.
Troubleshooting
Step 1. Check the Charging Contacts
Inspect the charging contacts on the robot for dust, debris, or foreign matter. If dirty, please wipe them clean with a dry cloth before retrying.
Check whether the metal charging pins (Charging Contacts) are stuck or not bouncing back properly.
Step 2. Restart the Robot
Remove the robot from the charging dock.
Restart the robot and place it back onto the dock to retry charging.
Check whether you hear the voice prompt: “Start charging.”
Step 3. Reset the Robot
Open the upper cover of the robot.
Locate the small Reset button near the Wi-Fi indicator. Use a pin to press and hold for about 3 seconds until you hear the voice prompt: “Start to restore factory settings.”
After resetting, restart the robot and check whether it operates normally.
Note: Resetting the robot will erase all data, including saved maps.
