Issue Description
If the robot fails to turn on or start, the issue may be related to the power button status, battery level, charging connection, or system malfunction. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue.
Troubleshooting
Step 1. Check the Power/Clean button indicator
Press the Power/Clean button on the robot and check whether the button indicator lights up.
If the indicator lights up:
Press and hold the Power/Clean button to restart the robot.
If the robot does not respond, reset the robot and try again.
Open the upper cover and press and hold the reset button with a tool for 3 seconds until you hear the voice prompt “start to restore factory settings”.
If the indicator does not light up:
Proceed to Step 2 to check whether the issue is caused by low battery power.
Step 2. Check charging and battery status
Confirm whether the robot is unable to start due to insufficient battery power by following the steps below:
Make sure the charging dock/base station is connected to power and that both ends of the power cord are properly plugged in.
Clean the charging contacts on both the charging dock/base station and the robot to ensure proper contact during charging.
Manually place the robot onto the charging dock/base station, align the metal charging contacts, and observe whether the robot starts charging automatically.
If the robot does not start automatically, press and hold the Power/Clean button for 3 seconds to check whether it can be powered on.
If the issue persists, reset the robot again. Open the upper cover and press and hold the reset button with a tool until you hear the voice prompt “start to restore factory settings.”
Note: Resetting the robot will clear all data, including saved maps. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
