1. What are the countertop requirements for installing this integrated range hood & induction cooker?
It must be installed on a flat countertop with a thickness of 30-40mm; sufficient space must be reserved in the cabinet below the countertop to accommodate the air inlet chamber, fan cavity, air inlet pipe, air outlet pipe and other components, and good ventilation and heat dissipation must be ensured.
2. How Do I Secure the Cooktop During Installation?
First place the cooker on a stable and smooth surface (packaging materials can be used) to avoid applying force to the protruding control panel; after installation, fix the cooker to the countertop by screwing 4 brackets on the bottom of the cooker.
3. What is the minimum installation distance between the cooker and the range hood (or other appliances)?
- The minimum distance between the supporting surface for the cookware on the hob and the lowest part of the range hood. When this device is located above an oven or other appliance, this distance shall be at least 65 cm.
- The distance of 65 cm can be reduced for non-combustible parts of range hood, or parts operating at safety extra low voltage, provided these parts do not give access to lives parts if deformed. Regulations concerning the discharge of air have to be fulfilled.
4. What are the precautions for power connection?
The power connection must be completed by a qualified electrician in accordance with relevant standards, and a single-pole circuit breaker (e.g., 32A~ 220-240V) can be used; adapters, voltage reducers or splitters are strictly prohibited; the cable must not be twisted or squeezed, must not contact high-temperature components, and the temperature at any position must not exceed 75℃; after installation, the connecting cable must not contact the bottom of the cooker.
