Issue Description
If your robot's mop pad cannot extend when cleaning along the edges, please refer to this article for troubleshooting.
This article applies to models with the mop extension function.
Troubleshooting
Before using the mop extension feature, please first confirm whether the robot has completed network setup.
If the network setup has not been completed:
Please complete the network setup in the Dreame app first, then enable the Al-driven MopExtend feature. The default mode is Smart Mode.
If the network setup has been completed:
Step 1. Go to Settings and check whether Al-driven MopExtend is enabled.
Step 2. Check which mode is selected: Standard / Intelligence / High-Frequency. Each mode has a different mop swing frequency. You can choose the appropriate frequency based on your cleaning needs.
- Standard mode: This function is perfomed once a week in Global Cleaning tasks. It is suitable for daily cleaning scenarios.
- Intelligence mode: Robot will intelligently adjust Al-driven MopExtendTM settings for different scenarios to balance cleaning efficiency and battery life.
- High Frequency mode: The extension is performed during every cleaning. If you need the extension to occur every time, it is recommended to use High Frequency mode.
If the Issue Persists
If you have confirmed that the network setup is complete and High-Frequency Mode is enabled, but the mop still does not extend, please record a video of the issue and provide it to our after-sales team for further assistance. Thank you for your understanding and support.
