1. How to handle inability to climb slopes?
Our robot vacuum uses mechanical feet for obstacle crossing and can generally overcome single-layer steps smaller than 52mm.
If the machine cannot pass through, please check whether the step is black or dark-colored.
If not, you can try using the app to assist with obstacle crossing through:
- Map Editing → Threshold → Add Passable Threshold
- Settings → Obstacle Crossing Settings → Dual-Foot Synchronous Obstacle Crossing
2. Steps between 52mm–100mm cannot be crossed?
Our sweeping machine uses mechanical feet for obstacle crossing, making it one of the most powerful machines in the industry. However, its ability to successfully climb slopes depends on factors such as the length, width, and gradient of the ramp.
A steep slope can easily cause the machine to back up to avoid obstacles.
If your doorstep is between:
- Single-layer step: 52mm
- Double-layer step: 52–100mm
It may not be able to overcome the obstacle. We recommend purchasing a climbing mat to assist with obstacle crossing.
3. Mechanical foot entangled with foreign objects?
Our machine has built-in mechanical feet on the drive wheel side. When the machine detects a threshold greater than 20mm (but less than 52mm), it will raise the mechanical feet to clear the obstacle.
If the mechanical feet do not reset in time, a tangling warning may appear.
We suggest you:
- Power off and restart the main unit
- Place it back in the base station
- Restart again and observe the situation
4. Width of double-layer threshold crossing
When crossing double-layer obstacles, the maximum supported step width is approximately 23 cm.
5. Abnormal chassis lifting?
Please check whether there are any foreign objects tangled around the machine's chassis and clean them first.
If no foreign objects are found:
- Place the machine in an open area
- Restart it and observe
If the problem persists, please contact customer service and report this issue.
6. Loud sound when crossing obstacles?
Please rest assured that the machine will not damage the floor when overcoming obstacles.
The base is equipped with cushioning pads that contact the small axles, which helps:
- Reduce impact force
- Reduce noise
- Provide overall vibration damping
7. Carpet Cleaning Strategies
Carpets thicker than 20 mm: You can use the chassis lift function and adjust it between two levels.
Thick short-pile carpets: Set the chassis to the middle level for a balance between cleaning performance and usability (≤5 mm).
Thick long-pile carpets: Set the chassis to the highest level to expand the usable scenarios (5–11 mm).
