Corner Cleaning
1. What is the corner cleaning function?
- The corner cleaning mode is a special cleaning mode designed for dust accumulation along walls and corners.
- The robot will perform two deep edge sweeping and mopping operations along the wall to cover edge areas that are difficult to reach with ordinary cleaning modes.
- Our X60 Pro Ultra Complete support mop-extend 18cm and side brush-extend 12cm.
2. What is the relationship between cleaning corners and cleaning baseboards?
- Corner cleaning is the function name, while baseboard cleaning is one of the effects of corner cleaning.
- When initiating a corner cleaning task, if the user has installed a baseboard cleaning brush, the robot will perform a deep scrub of the baseboards while cleaning along the edges; if no cleaning brush is installed, the robot will still perform sweeping and mopping along the edges, but will not scrub the baseboard surface.
- Simply put: corner cleaning = task entry point, baseboard cleaning brush = optional accessory, installing it improves the effect.
3. How do I initiate corner cleaning?
- Method 1: Enter the App → Custom Task → Select "Corner Cleaning" → Select whole house or partial area
- Method 2: Voice-initiated: Simply say "Clean all baseboards in the house" or "Clean living room baseboards", and the voice will guide the user to enter the app to initiate the task.
4. What's the difference between cleaning corners and edges and regular whole-house cleaning?
- Regular cleaning focuses on covering the entire area, starting with cleaning along the edges and then performing a bow-shaped cleaning motion
- Corner cleaning focuses on the wall edges, performing two sweeping and mopping operations along the edges.
5. What accessories are needed for cleaning corners and edges?
- The mop pad holder is a required accessory; the baseboard cleaning brush is an optional accessory, which can clean the top of the baseboard at the same time for better results.
6. What does the robot say after cleaning is complete?
- When finished, a voice announcement will say, "Cleaning complete. Please pull the cleaning brush upwards and store it properly after cleaning."
- Please pull the cleaning brush upwards as instructed to avoid damaging the clip by pulling it sideways.
7. Where can I see how many corners and edges were cleaned this time?
- App → Cleaning Records → Find the corresponding record → Click Details to view
8. How often should cleaning brushes be replaced?
- Use once a week: Replace every 6 months if recommended.
- Use once every two weeks: Replace every 12 months if recommended.
Baseboard Cleaning
1. How exactly do I operate the baseboard cleaning function mentioned in the instruction manual within the app?
- Enter the App → Custom Task → Select "Corner Cleaning" → Follow the instructions to install the mop tray.
- If you need to clean the baseboards, manually install the baseboard cleaning brush → Select the whole house or a specific area.
2. When using the baseboard cleaning function, is it necessary to remove the mop pad holder? The description in the instruction manual does not match the actual operation logic in the app.
- This is because we have optimized and upgraded the software logic in later versions, adjusting the operating strategy in the baseboard cleaning mode to reduce user steps and improve the user experience.
- Therefore, the app's onboarding process differs from the original manual. Please refer to the actual prompts within the app for now; the app's onboarding logic is the latest version and is simpler to use. We will also update the manual in future versions to avoid further confusion.
3. After I initiated the baseboard cleaning task by voice, the robot asked me to confirm it in the app. Is this normal?
- That's normal.
- After the voice command is initiated, the app will receive a prompt to confirm within the app whether the cleaning brush is installed. Once confirmed, the task will officially begin.
4. When initiating a normal cleaning task, the robot reports an error saying "Baseboard cleaning brush detected, cannot be installed" and the task cannot be executed.
- A normal cleaning task cannot be performed when the baseboard cleaning brush is installed. Please remove the cleaning brush, store it properly, and then restart the cleaning task.
5. The brush fell off when cleaning the baseboard.
- Please check if the installation is in place. Make sure the baseboard cleaning brush is aligned with the mounting clips on the main unit and press down. You will hear a click when it is installed.
