1. Water Stains After Mopping?
Even if the mop is wrung out very dry, some moisture will remain after mopping and needs time to evaporate.
The visibility of water stains is affected by floor material and lighting conditions.
Suggestions:
- Update the firmware by enabling Automatic Update in Settings → Firmware Upgrade
- Check the cleaning disc for foreign objects, hair, or blockages
- During initial use, especially in dusty environments, use Mop after Vac mode with lower water volume
- On tile floors or in humid seasons, use timed cleaning or replace mop cloth regularly
- If water flow is too high, adjust it to the lowest level (supports 32 water flow levels)
- Using a dedicated cleaning solution is recommended for better results
2. Water dripping during operation?
This is usually caused by:
- Factory testing residue
Each unit undergoes a water circuit test before leaving the factory. A small amount of water may remain in the pipes and may drip during initial use. This usually disappears after a few uses. - Normal mop rehydration process
The robot automatically rehydrates the mop during operation to maintain moisture. A small amount of water droplets may appear due to rotation or turning, but are usually cleaned during normal operation.
It is recommended to observe the device for 1–2 uses. If the dripping continues or is excessive, contact after-sales service.
3. Missed Areas During Cleaning?
Possible causes include:
- The robot cannot enter narrow spaces (less than 38cm)
- Carpet detection may prevent entry if carpet avoidance is enabled
- Map overlap may cause positioning errors → re-map required
- Obstacles at entrances (slippers, wires, etc.)
- Threshold too high (cannot pass if beyond supported height)
- Obstacle avoidance behavior may leave small uncleaned areas nearby
- Binocular lens needs regular cleaning to avoid misjudgment
4. Mop placed outside cleaning area
No need to worry.
During edge cleaning, the mop extends outward to cover corners. During zigzag cleaning, previously missed areas are covered.
5. Edges not cleaned properly
You can:
- Use sweep-then-mop mode for deeper cleaning
- Go to: App → Settings → Floor Cleaning → Bionic Edge Covering → Cleaning Frequency
- Select High Frequency for better edge and corner coverage
6. Not clean (overall cleaning performance)
The machine supports intelligent managed cleaning and customized cleaning modes:
- At initial use, floors may be very dirty. Use Custom Cleaning Mode → Self-Cleaning Settings → small-area cleaning first, then switch to large-area cleaning after several uses
- Use Ultimate Mode in intelligent managed cleaning for slower and denser cleaning
- Use sweep-then-mop mode, adjusting suction power and cleaning frequency for better results
7. Mop temperature does not reach 40°C?
- Ensure mop washing mode is set to:
Settings → Base Station Settings → Mop Washing Mode → Washing Temperature → High Temperature Soak (Hot Water Mopping) - Actual temperature may vary due to ambient temperature and water temperature conditions
8. Why does the robot increase mop speed when liquid stains are detected, and cause water droplets to splash on the floor?
A small amount of water droplets is normal.
When liquid stains are detected, the robot enters high-speed mode. The high-speed rotation may generate centrifugal force, causing a small amount of water to be thrown out.
9. Mop pad holder installation failed?
Please check:
- Whether there are foreign objects on the cleaning tray
- Whether the mop is correctly installed, ensuring the central ring of the mop holder is fully exposed and not blocked by the mop
