1. Will Horizontal Transportation or Tilting Affect the Refrigerator?
It is recommended to transport the refrigerator in an upright position whenever possible.
If the refrigerator was transported horizontally or tilted during delivery, it does not necessarily mean that it has been damaged. Before using the refrigerator, place it upright and leave it standing for 2–3 hours. This allows the compressor oil to flow back into the compressor and helps ensure normal operation.
Once the refrigerator has been left standing for the recommended time, it can be used normally. If you experience any issues, please contact customer support for further assistance.
2. Can I Store Medication in the Refrigerator?
No. A household refrigerator is not designed for storing medication.
Medications should be stored according to the manufacturer's storage instructions. If refrigeration is required, use a medical-grade refrigerator specifically designed for storing pharmaceuticals.
3. Why Are There Water Droplets on the Surface of the Refrigerator?
Water droplets on the exterior of the refrigerator
During rainy seasons or in environments with high humidity, a small amount of condensation may appear on the outside of the refrigerator or around the door gasket. This is normal. Simply wipe the moisture away with a soft cloth.
Condensation inside the refrigerator
If condensation forms inside the refrigerator, it may be caused by excessive moisture. To help reduce condensation:
- Avoid storing uncovered soups or other liquid foods.
- Store foods in sealed containers whenever possible to reduce the humidity inside the refrigerator.
4. Why Does the Refrigerator Make a Running Water Sound?
This is a normal operating sound.
When the refrigerator compressor starts or stops, the refrigerant flowing through the internal pipes may produce a sound similar to running water. This is a normal part of the refrigeration system and does not indicate a malfunction.
5. Why Is Water Leaking From the Refrigerator?
The water leaking from the refrigerator is usually caused by condensation.
Under normal circumstances, the condensation water is drained through the drain pipe into the evaporation tray located near the compressor compartment, where it evaporates using the heat generated by the compressor or condenser.
Normally, the amount of condensation water is small and can evaporate naturally. If you notice excessive water leakage, please contact our after-sales support team for further assistance.
6. Why Does the Refrigerator Have an Odor?
Scenario 1: Odor from a new refrigerator
When the refrigerator is used for the first time, it may have a slight plastic or new-product smell. This is normal. Open the refrigerator door and drawers, and place the refrigerator in a well-ventilated area for 1–2 days to allow the odor to dissipate.
Scenario 2: Odor during use
The odor may be caused by
- Food being stored in the refrigerator for too long.
- Food that requires sealed storage not being properly packaged.
- The refrigerator not being cleaned regularly.
- Strong-smelling food not being properly wrapped or sealed.
Please clean the refrigerator regularly and store food properly to help prevent unpleasant odors.
7. Why Is the Food in the Refrigerator Compartment Frozen?
Check the following:
- The temperature setting may be too low. Adjust the refrigerator temperature to an appropriate level.
- Foods with high water content may freeze if they are placed too close to the cold air outlet. Keep such foods away from the refrigerator air outlet.
8. Why Are the Sides of the Refrigerator and the Door Frames Around the Freezer and Convertible Compartments Hot?
This is a normal phenomenon during refrigerator operation.
When the refrigerator is running, the condenser releases heat to the surrounding area. Since the condenser is located on both sides of the refrigerator, these areas may feel warmer than other parts.
The heat may be more noticeable:
- When the refrigerator has just started operating.
- During hot weather or when the ambient temperature is high.
This is part of the normal heat dissipation process. Please feel free to continue using the refrigerator.
