What Should I Do If I Cannot Open the Washing Machine Door?

Try the following steps to open the door:

1. To add laundry during a cycle: Press and hold the Start/Pause button for 3 seconds. After the water inside the drum is drained, the door lock icon on the display will disappear, and the door can be opened.
2. After the washing cycle is complete, wait for 3–5 minutes before opening the door.
3. Press and hold the Start/Pause button for 3 seconds to try opening the door.
4. Open the small cover at the lower right corner on the front of the washing machine. Use the small drain hose to drain any remaining water, then gently pull the emergency release tab to open the door.
5. Try running another program and check whether the door can be opened. If the issue persists, please contact customer support for further assistance.

1. Check whether any laundry or foreign objects are stuck around the door seal, preventing the door from closing properly.
2. Remove any trapped items or foreign objects, make sure all laundry is inside the drum, and try closing the door again.
